Today we came home from Chautauqua and went straight to Bravo, a fun Italian restaurant, for a lunch with a few of my friends from growing up and their moms. My girlfriend Jackie who lives in Spain, and has for the past 4 years, planned the lunch for Kara and I. Kara is getting married this summer and Jackie won’t be back for either of our showers.
We had the best time in the world! It was great to catch up and enjoy a fun lunch. I had the salmon salad but didn’t take a picture because I was more interested in taking pictures of my friends and Jackie’s cute decorations.

The girls! The mom’s aren’t pictured but we apparently all got the memo to wear black.

I got some adorable baby gifts – organic cotton crib sheets, receiving blankets, books, stuffed animals and adorable outfits in white and yellows! Thank you so much girls!!!

Christmas was a blast! I skipped out on taking many of the delicious food pictures and focused more on the adorable babies in the fam! Here are a few fun ones.
Baby Kendall – 1 year in November. My cousin Stephanie and her husband Josh’s adorable little girl.

My Aunt Debbie’s amazing fruit Christmas tree! This is such a cute idea! The top of a pineapple, turned upside down and dusted with powdered sugar. The star is made with cookie cutter then just add fresh fruit to the base.
This is such a great idea! I can’t wait to try it for next year or for our neighborhood holiday party in January. Thanks Aunt Debbie! Keep your good ideas coming!

We woke up yesterday morning and I ran to the basement of my parents house to do the elliptical for a quick 30 minutes. I just had to get some movement into the day.
Then we showered and headed to Brady’s grandma and grandpa’s house for Christmas with his family. We had a great time hanging out and stuffing our faces with tons of delicious food!
I made coffee cake – my grandma’s recipe but it needed more crumbs on top.
Hot, fresh Brugger’s Bagels

Pumpkin muffins – as the sign says!

I can’t believe Christmas is already here! I have my shopping done and wrapped and now I am just working on baking and cooking! When I am at my parents in Cleveland, I feel like time flies by because there is so much going and so many people to see and so much hanging out to do.
I am hoping to schedule a lunch or breakfast with some famous bloggers for next week
For Christmas there were a few things I had on my list:
1. Rice Cooker – to make fluffy soft brown rice in minutes

2. Magazines – I always want magazines!
- Cooking Light – my subscription is up in January
- Oxygen – I am already thinking about getting back in shape after baby.
3. DSLR Camera
for baby H. and for your viewing pleasure

4. A refill on my perfume – DKNY Be Delicous
5. a few surprises!
What is on your list?
